McLaren Honda Action Camera Branding & Packaging

McLaren Honda are a British Formula 1 team and are the second oldest active team after Ferrari.

They recently launched the Action Camera, which would allow users to document their own adrenaline fuelled journeys via a micro sized camera.

THE CHALLENGE

The brief was to create a suitably branded camera and protective skeleton, along with an instruction book, CD and packaging. 

THE SOLUTION

The design of the product required a minimilist and clean look, which would match McLaren's brand DNA.

THE OUTCOME

The word 'ACTION' generates enough energy and excitement to use the camera. Therefore, working alongside Mclaren's branding team, we agreed that the packaging should have an unexaggerated approach. The artwork was created using McLaren Honda's branding and was submitted on behalf of an agency.
