WARWICK CASTLE KINGMAKER PHOTO BOOK

Warwick Castle, run by Merlin Entertainments, provides a popular family day out. This landmark helped shape what Britain has become today. One of the key attractions within the castle is the Kingmaker exhibition. Guests can relive the story of Richard Neville, known as Warwick the Kingmaker, along with his preparations for the Battle of Barnet.

A themed capture area within the tour includes a green screen wall, where guests are invited to pose for photos. Whilst the guest journey continues, the photos are printed onto pre-designed backgrounds and are packed into a photo book.

THE CHALLENGE

With the busy summer holiday season approaching, Warwick Castle needed an exciting and educational photo book to be sold at the end of the tour.

THE SOLUTION

After visiting the attraction, we shared the clients view of creating a dark and battle ready feel to the book.

We chose to incorporate an interactive element to the book, encouraging a personalised experience. The muster roll rallies guests to enrol for battle by discovering their medieval name.

The printed photos are slotted into corner holders on various pages of the book, with a pocket on the inside-back cover to hold additional photo-based merchandise.

THE OUTCOME

Thankfully our concept design matched the clients vision and the printed photo books are currently on sale at Warwick Castle. The majority of artwork was created using Merlin's branding and was submitted on behalf of an agency.
