Teddy Hewitt Foundation
Our client was seeking a new identity for their charity that supports families after the illness or death of a child. We sat down with them to obtain a deeper level of understanding for the charity and their goals. Following this discovery session, we moved forward on the basis that the identity would need to comply with 3 key areas – evocative, simple and delicate.
An essential and key ingredient required was the inclusion of a teddy, acting as a symbol for the brand. We illustrated a waving teddy with a rounded brush-stroke, warm yellows and a heart shape to conjure the feeling of compassion. We also included low-level shading to add depth to the icon.
We chose Sofia Pro for the primary wordmark, adding credibility to the brand.
